The Elldees puppies have reached five weeks old and what a difference a week makes!
They are growing beautifully, eating well and becoming much more active as they discover the world around them. This morning they had their very first pedicure, which they handled remarkably well for such little puppies.
The weather here has been pretty miserable lately, so their outdoor adventures have been put on hold for the moment. Instead, they have been spending plenty of time curled up beside the fire with Mum, keeping warm and cosy while they continue to grow.
At five weeks, we are starting to see much more of their individual personalities emerging. They are becoming increasingly curious about their surroundings and about each other, and there is always something happening when they are awake!
We tried to get a nice group photograph this morning… as you can see, not everyone was particularly interested in cooperating with the photographer! But it does give you a good idea of just how much they have changed already.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to watch them closely as their personalities and individual qualities develop. Our puppy selections will be made with care, taking into account both the individual puppy and the home that will be the best match for them.
